Report: Legacy Knight Plans $20M Series A Round

Dallas-based RIA Legacy Knight is looking to launch a Series A funding round with a $20M initial target size from its UHNW clients in a bid to grow its platforms, per an October 14 report by Citywire.

Proceeds for the planned investment round will be intended for platform growth and recruitment, including for C-suite roles such as chief investment officer, while another portion of the capital will be used to bring in new investors in a potential tender offer for the funding round.

Legacy Knight said it currently oversees approximately $1.5B in aggregate assets.
