Hong Kong-based Avenue Family Office has hired Paul Ouyang as a managing director and head of the firm’s greater China office, per a report from Citywire.
Ouyang joins the independent asset manager from Citibank China, where he similarly served most recently as managing director, as well as head of China emerging corporates and commercial banking, since 2016. He joined Citi in 2004, and was previously general manager of Citi’s Guiyang branch in 2010.
Avenue Family office is also reportedly expected to open a new office in Singapore following regulatory approval by authorities in the Asian jurisdiction, Citywire said.
