Report: Forum Financial Defectors Launch Bridge Generations Wealth

Former Forum Financial advisors Barbara Ray and David Smith have launched Bridge Generations Wealth Management, leading an eight-member team managing $250M in client assets operating out of Miami and Salt Lake City, according to a January 27 Citywire report.

Bridge Generations is a fee-based wealth management firm that offers investment management and consulting services. According to its website, the firm aims to provide its clients with a “small firm feel with a big firm experience”. The team was reportedly formed in June 2024 and cut ties with Forum Financial on January 15. 

Ray and Smith were with Forum Financial for six and four years, respectively, with Smith serving as a partner according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to that, Smith managed David Smith Advisory in South Miami while Ray founded Vantage Point Advisors in Salt Lake City. Joining them at Bridge Generations are fellow former Forum advisors Elisa Schvaneveldt, Raleigh Smith, and Karen Caselli, along with client service associates Paola Corrales and Patty Weisson.
