Capria Ventures launched its $100M Capria India Fund III, Indian news platform YourStory reported December 11, citing Capria Ventures Managing Partner Surya Mantha.
The fund, which comes with a greenshoe option of up to $125M, was structured as a master-feeder investment. It is open for investments from domestic and international investors, with Indian investors expected to account for 60% of contributions.
Capria India Fund III will target 25 to 30 startups in its seed and pre-series A funding rounds, particularly businesses in the human resources technology, financial technology, software-as-a-service and climate sectors. Mantha said the fund will also invest in late-stage companies from preceding funds.
