Report: Ampersand Partners Recruits $448M Mid-Atlantic Wells Fargo Team

Ampersand Partners has recruited a team of Wells Fargo advisors operating out of Johnstown, PA, who had managed $448M in client assets, according to an October 30 report from AdvisorHub.

Advisors Brad Hindman, Brian J. Kelly, and Cady Kirkwood Rankin will join Ampersand through their newly formed practice, Apricity Advisors. At Wells, the team reportedly generated $4.2M in annual revenue, and Hindman managed $448M in client assets, a source familiar with the practice told AdvisorHub.

Hindman spent more than 24 years with Wells Fargo, according to his LinkedIn profile, most recently as a managing director of investments. Kelly spent more than 32 years at Wells Fargo, most recently as first vice president, while Kirkwood Rankin spent nearly eight years at Wells Fargo across two separate stints.
