Report: Advent Gauges Investor Interest for New Flagship Fund

Advent has held preliminary talks with limited partners regarding a new flagship fund to rival the massive $25B vehicle it closed in 2022, Bloomberg News reported December 6, citing people familiar with the matter.

The unnamed sources said talks have been ongoing since October, with the parties yet to finalize a decision on the size or timing of the fundraising. Those sources said Advent is aiming for a mid-$20B target range for the new fund, which could match the US buyout firm's previous record-setting $25B vehicle.
