RayJay Adds $400M Financial Advisory in Alabama

Raymond James recruited Huntsville, AL-based advisor Chris Helton to its independent advisor channel from Synovus Securities, where he managed approximately $400M in client assets.

At Raymond James, Helton will operate as Helton Wealth Management, providing financial planning advisory to high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and clients who are nearing or in retirement. He will report directly to Southeast division director Todd Gartell.

Helton has more than 18 years of financial industry experience. He had been with Synovus Securities since 2010 and before that held advisor roles at Infinex Investments and Morgan Stanley.
