Multifamily office RIA Pennington Partners announced that it has appointed Christopher Wolfe as its new president and CIO.
Wolfe previously served as CIO for First Republic Private Wealth Management from 2016 until the firm was acquired by JPMorgan in 2019, at which point he continued as CIO for JPMorgan Private Wealth Advisors after the acquisition, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to First Republic, Wolfe was head of Merrill Lynch’s chief investment office, and before that he was head of global equity for JPMorgan Private Bank.
As CIO, Wolfe is expected to work closely with Pennington co-founder and CEO Brian Gaister to drive asset and client growth while also being responsible for overseeing the investment platform and strategy of the firm.
