Vancouver, CAN-based Pender Ventures said November 14 that it raised $100M at the final close of its second venture fund, Technology Inflection Fund II LP.
The fund will target high-potential companies, including players in the technology ecosystem of the Canadian province of Alberta, the venture capital firm said. Fund II made a $50M first close in January 2023, and its predecessor fund launched in 2018, making a $25M close in November 2020.
Investors in the Fund II include Alberta Enterprise Corp., Export Development Bank, InBC, Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative, Bank of Montreal, BDC Capital, Kinsted Wealth, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and VanCity.
