Orange County ERS Allocates $160M to Alts

The Orange County Employees Retirement System recently disclosed $160 million in commitments to alternatives.

$16.5 million was allocated to ArchiMed MED Rise. The focus is on investments in profitable small-cap companies within the healthcare sector. 

$27 million was allocated to FSN Capital Compass I. The fund focuses on equity investments in small-cap companies based in the Nordic and DACH regions across services, industrials, technology, and green transition sectors.

Additionally, $8 million was allocated to Cinven Pegasus, a leveraged buyout co-investment strategy for private market closed-end funds. 

Lastly, an $8 million commitment was invested in Frozen Investments Collective, a private equity co-investment managed by Investindustrial.

$100 million was allocated to Bayview MSR Opportunity Fund. 

As of March 31, 2024, the OCERS had a market value of $23.3 billion.
