The Los Angeles County Employees’ Retirement Association approved five commitments totaling $700 million to private equity and hedge fund exposures, according to materials from the August 14th Board meeting.
In private equity, $150 million was committed to Kingswood Capital Opportunities Fund III, $150 million to Lightyear Fund V, $57 million to Sterling Investment Partners Co-Invest, and $100 million to Centerbridge Capital Partners Co-Invest.
Additionally, $250 million was committed to Man AHL Alpha.
As of June 2024, the fund was valued at approximately $78.9 billion.
