Midwest private equity firm O2 Investment Partners has recruited a new associate to oversee transaction lifecycles, including due diligence and underwriting, for O2 portfolio companies.
Jake Weirick formerly served as investment banking associate at Stephens before joining O2 as its third associate in the firm, joining Myke Amany and Saif Khan. Prior to Stephens, Weirick worked as an M&A analyst for Huntington National Bank. O2 Managing Partner Luke Plumpton said the new Atlanta-based associate would bring “meaningful transaction and execution expertise” that would have an “immediate impact on our current portfolio and the review of new investment opportunities.”
O2 has invested in 23 lower-middle-market firms in the B2B, technology, and select niche industry sectors.
