The New Bedford Contributory Retirement System has issued an RFP seeking a manager for a $110M mandate to oversee a global, but predominantly US focused, multi-sector/unconstrained fixed income commingled/collective investment trust strategy.
The search intends to fulfill New Bedford’s multi-sector fixed income mandate and is also being conducted to follow a reevaluation of existing managers required of the board every seven years. The Massachusetts city pension will accept proposals until 1 pm EST on January 8, 2025. Separate accounts and mutual funds will not be considered.
Consultant Segal Marco Advisors is assisting in the manager search.
