Mass PRIM Commits $111M to Private Equity

The Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board approved three commitments to private equity totaling $111 million. 

$60 million was allocated to Flagship Pioneering Fund VIII, $17 million to Spark Capital VIII, and $34 million to Spark Capital Growth Fund V.

As of December 31, 2023 the $101 billion pension fund allocated 17.4% to private equity with a policy target range of 13%-19%.
