LPL Recruits $343M SoCal Advisor from Merrill

LPL Financial announced that Marcus S. Alexander, most recently with Merrill Lynch where he managed $343M in client assets, has joined Linsco, the firm’s employee advisor channel.

Alexander now operates as Alexander Wealth Solutions and will be based in Linsco’s Newport Beach, CA, office. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 16 years at Merrill where he served as senior vice president. Before Merrill, he worked at Citi Global Markets for a decade, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

He is the third Southern California advisor LPL has recently recruited into Linsco and closely follows the recruitment of John Somerville, formerly of D.A. Davidson, to its Santa Barbara, CA, office, as reported by Dakota on January 6.
