LPL Financial announced that San Diego-based advisor Michael Bernier has joined its Linsco employee advisor channel and formed GWC Financial Advisors.

Bernier joins LPL from Canter Wealth, where he served as a senior wealth advisor serving approximately $165M in client assets. He brings over 20 years of experience in wealth management, with earlier stints at Pure Financial Advisors and Financial Designs Ltd.

Bernier is the latest addition to LPL’s California footprint, where it most recently added the $650M RIA Apex Wealth Advisors in September, as previously reported by Dakota.
