The Firefighters’ Retirement System of Louisiana (FRS) has terminated the Rothschild Asset Management U.S. Small/Mid Cap Core fund, according to meeting minutes from the August 11 board meeting.
Meeting minutes cite underperformance as a reason for the termination, in addition to Rothschild being on NEPC’s watch list since 2019.
The Rothschild account was valued at approximately $33.5 million as of June 30, 2022. All funds will be moved to the Russell 2500 index.
