The Firefighters' Retirement System of Louisiana has ended its passive manager search, selecting Northern Trust Non-Lending, in a motion carried unanimously during the pension’s board meeting on September 17.
NEPC assisted in the search and continues to work on another active search in which submissions were due November 1, as the pension on September 19 issued a search for a long-only, passive global equity manager with a $125M mandate.
Per Dakota data, the Louisiana pension oversees plan assets of approximately $2.5B.
