LA Water and Power Allocates $75M to Real Estate

The Los Angeles Water and Power Employees’ Retirement Plan has made a $75 million real estate commitment to Cabot Industrial Core Fund Ill, per meeting materials. 

Cabot Industrial Core Fund III is a closed-end core real estate fund that targets investments in stabilized, income producing midsize logistics facilities in US major markets. The fund strategy has an emphasis on modern bulk and multi-tenant distribution buildings.

This represents LA WPERP's first investment in Cabot funds. 

As of March 31, the $20.9 billion Retirement Fund allocates 10% to real estate.
