Knoxville Pension Board Commits $7M to Private Equity

The City of Knoxville Pension Board approved a commitment of $7 million to HighVista APE Fund X, according to recent meeting minutes.

HighVista’s private equity strategies focus on the U.S. lower middle market.

Investment consultant, Marquette, assisted with the recommendation.

As of June 30, 2023, the $668 million pension fund allocates 10.5% to private equity with a policy target of 8%.
