KKR, Capital Group to Offer Public-Private Funds to Wealthy Investors

KKR and Capital Group are seeking permission from the SEC to launch two public-private fixed income funds that would provide individual investors with greater access to private markets investments, building on the exclusive partnership the firms announced in May.

Capital Group KKR Core Plus+ and Capital Group KKR Multi-Sector+ will create what is described as “a new category of hybrid public-private investment solutions” to be made available to the US wealth market in the first half of 2025, pending regulatory approval. The funds will operate under Capital Group and will integrate its public market investment resources with KKR’s private markets experience.

Capital Group said that, to date, it oversees public fixed income assets valued at over $555B, while KKR services more than $100B in private credit assets.
