Kestra Financial announced the promotion of John V. Amore to president, effective April 1, succeeding Stephen Langlois who will retire at the end of 2025.
Langlois is stepping down from the role after serving for nearly five years, during which time he helped lead the firm through the COVID pandemic. Kestra said he will stay on as a senior advisor through the end of the year to help ensure a smooth leadership transition.
Amore, who currently heads wealth management at Kestra, has been with the firm for over five years. Prior to joining Kestra, he served as a managing director at UBS for over 14 years, leading wealth management teams across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, according to his LinkedIn profile. He began his career in management consulting with Accenture in 1997.
