Kentucky TRS Commits $120M to Infrastructure, Private Equity

The Kentucky Teachers’ Retirement System has disclosed two alternative investments totaling up to $120 million that were approved at the August meeting.

$60 million was committed to Macquarie Infrastructure Partners. In private equity, $60 million was committed to the Fort Washington Private Equity Opportunities Fund V.

As of June 30, 2023, the $24 billion Retirement System has an actual and target allocation to alternative investments of 8% and 7% respectively.
