Journey Grows Advisory Pool with Colorado RIA, Schwab Advisor

Summit, NJ-based RIA Journey Strategic Wealth recruited three new members to its network of financial professionals, expanding its presence in Colorado and the southern US, the company announced in an October 15 press release.

Journey adds a new office in Colorado Springs, CO, with independent RIA Creative Financial Services, composed of owner and senior advisor Jill Isbell and office manager Yenni Cheshire. They bring $72.5M in serviced assets from nearly 500 clients, per Creative Financial’s most recent Form ADV filing from May 17. Prior to founding her own firm in 2019, Isbell had worked as a financial advisor for Charles Schwab, LPL Financial, Edward Jones, and T. Rowe Price.

Seasoned advisor Chad Faulkenberry also joins Journey, following a 10-year stint with Charles Schwab, where he oversaw $750M in serviced assets exclusively for HNW and UHNW clients. Faulkenberry is based in Orlando, FL, and will operate alongside Journey’s Richmond, VA, practice to extend the firm’s reach in the South.
