Janney Montgomery Scott made two new additions, recruiting an advisor in Charlotte, NC, and adding a complex director for its new Chicago office.
The Philadelphia-based RIA said it has opened a private client group in the Windy City to be headed by Ned Kennedy, formerly of Wells Fargo, where he served as managing director and branch office manager leading a team of over 20 advisors. Kennedy’s past experience includes stints at JP Morgan Private Bank, DB Alex. Brown, Montgomery Securities, and Salomon Brothers. As complex director, Kennedy is tasked with driving growth within the firm’s Midwest market and spearheading recruitment efforts to draw in experienced financial advisors.
Meanwhile, Bob Stiles joins as senior vice president in wealth management, accompanied by senior registered private client associate Deidre Caldwell. Stiles brings close to 45 years of experience in the industry, most recently a decadelong tenure at Baird, according to BrokerCheck.
