The Teachers’ Retirement System of Illinois has disclosed three alternative investments totaling up to $310 million at the December board meeting.
$60 million was committed to Columbia Capital Partners VII. Columbia Capital, manager of the private equity fund, oversees approximately $24 million for the TRS.
$150 million was committed to Macquarie Infrastructure Partners VI. Macquarie Group currently administers $416.6 million in TRS assets.
$100 million was committed to a direct lending fund, Locust Point Private Credit Fund III. Locust Point Capital currently manages $76.4 million in TRS assets.
