Atlanta-based RIA Homrich Berg has introduced a seasoned UHNW family office team with over $4B in serviced assets to lead its Florida operations and new office in Tampa, FL, expanding its reach in the Southeast.
In a press release published October 28, the firm said it hired veteran advisor Larry Parkin out of retirement to head up the 12-person team as principal and Florida market Leader. Parkin last served as a managing director leading West Florida for Truist Private Wealth Management.
Parkin will be joined by Lex Smith, Ryan Best, Keith Johnson, Brad Glover, and John Willoughby as principals; Steve Cass as managing director; and Drew LaGrande as managing director and family wealth strategist. The rest of the team is composed of senior associate Benjamin DePalmo, senior client service operations specialists Melissa Baron and Marjorie Sjostrom, and client service operations specialist Casey Jackman.
Homrich Berg recently received a minority investment from TPG Capital in a transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter, as reported by Dakota on October 1. As of September 30, the RIA oversees approximately $18B in AUM.
