Fresno County Employees’ Retirement Association has narrowed down their Emerging Markets Equity Search to three finalists.
According to meeting minutes from the September 7 board meeting, ARGA, Dimensional Fund Advisors, and Pzena were selected for further consideration.
Previous meeting minutes show that the board was considering terminating current emerging markets equities manager, Mondrian, but did not take any action to evaluate other managers in the space before making a decision. Baillie Gifford is the other emerging markets equities manager for the County.
Investment consultant, Verus, is assisting with the search.
As of June 30, 2022, the $5.6 billion Retirement Association allocates 5% to emerging markets equities.
