Fresno City Commits $9M to Blue Vista Co-Investment

The City of Fresno Retirement Systems (CFRS) approved a $9M co-investment commitment to Blue Vista Real Estate Partners, according to meeting materials from its October 9 board meeting.

By approving the co-investment opportunity, the board has increased exposure to an asset it believes will generate strong returns as a direct result of minimal competition, both locally and regionally. The co-investment closed on September 11, with an investment period of approximately three years.

CFRS has an existing investment relationship with the manager, domestic non-core real estate firm Blue Vista Capital Partners.

According to Dakota data, CFRS has $4.1B in managed assets.
