French Firm Proskauer Adds Private Funds Partners

Paris-based law firm Proskauer said it has recruited Agnes Rossi and Marcela Moraru as partners in the firm’s private funds group, poaching the pair and their team of six associates from Simmons & Simmons.

Rossi and Moraru each bring more than 20 years of experience in advising on the structuring and establishment of mid‑market and large private equity funds, infrastructure funds, private credit funds, real estate funds, and carried interest, co‑investment arrangements and secondary transactions, including GP‑led transactions. 

Prior to joining Proskauer, Rossi and Moraru served as private fund partners at Simmons & Simmons and before that worked together at SJ Berwin. Proskauer said their addition significantly strengthens the firm’s private funds and secondaries practice in Paris and will further complement its private capital offerings practice in Europe.
