Evercore Wealth Management named Jonathan Kropf as the new head of its San Francisco office, succeeding Keith McWilliams who will continue as partner and wealth & fiduciary advisor for the firm working with ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Kropf has two decades of industry experience, most recently as managing director at IEQ Capital. He was also the head for advisor growth at SVB Private and held leadership roles at First Republic Bank, PIMCO, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, according to his LinkedIn profile. He started his career in 2003 as securities compliance officer for the SEC.
As partner and head of office, Kropf will be responsible for overseeing the expansion and growth of Evercore in the San Francisco Bay area and serve as a member of Evercore’s strategic planning committee.
