Equitable Reconnects with $300M Honolulu Team

An eight-member Honolulu-based team managing over $300M in client assets has joined Equitable Advisors from Osaic, according to an October 10 media release.

Shawn E. Hamada and Anna U.J. Kim reunite with Equitable, where both began their advisory careers 30 years ago, after leaving the firm in 2012, per BrokerCheck. The duo is joined by fellow advisor Sonnie O. Koko and five support staff, operating under the title Hamada/Kim Financial.

As of June 30, Equitable said it has over 4,300 financial professionals servicing approximately $94B in AUA.
