Cresset has received a $150M minority investment from wealth management and multi-family-office investor Constellation Wealth Capital.
The investment, which will fund expansion in Cresset’s platform, technology, and recruitment, represents a stake of less than 10% in the firm. Cresset’s most recent growth move was the October acquisition of $6.2B Dallas ultra-high-net-worth multifamily office CH Investment Partners. It also added the title of “chief growth officer” to CMO Jessical Malkin’s remit in the past month.
Moelis & Co., Goldman Sachs, Latham & Watkins, ArentFox Schiff, Deloitte, KPMG, Kirkland & Ellis, Houlihan Lokey, and William Blair advised on the transaction.
