Court Square Capital Partners has announced the final close of a single-asset continuation fund through which it will continue deploying investments in playground equipment and recreational services provider PlayCore Group.
Leonard Green & Partners-backed Sage Equity Investors led the funding round through incremental capital commitments in PlayCore, which has been a portfolio company of Court Square since the private equity firm became control investor in 2017. Court Square also offered existing investors a liquidity event through the continuation fund as well as the ability to roll over existing interests into the continuation vehicle. The total amount raised for the fund was not disclosed.
Evercore Group LLC and Goldman Sachs served as financial advisors for Court Square, while Kirkland & Ellis LLP acted as legal advisor. Ropes & Gray LLP served as legal advisor for LGP.
