Compound Planning Adds Four Advisors to Kick Off '25

Compound Planning announced the recruitment of four new advisors – Matthew Faubion, Jakub Kubrak, Dimitry Farberov, and Michael Hunter – adding a combined 50 years of industry experience to its roster.

Dublin, CA-based Faubion joins Compound with Faubion Wealth Management, which he founded in 2020, managing $13.8M in regulatory assets under management. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has had previous stints as an advisor at Catalyst Private Wealth, Destination Wealth Management, and ClearPath Capital Partners.

Kubrak is a Celina, TX-based advisor with 12 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Compound, he worked for the private wealth division of Texas Capital Bank, Fisher Investments, and started his career at Chase Investments, according to his BrokerCheck record.

Farberov is based in Beverly Hills, CA, spending 16 years as a wealth management advisor. He was a director at Miracle Mile Advisors for nearly five years and began his advisory career at Wachovia Securities in 2007, according to BrokerCheck.

Hunter is an Arvada, CO-based advisor who previously served as director of client relations at Motley Fool Wealth Management. According to his LinkedIn profile, his career includes prior stints at Personal Capital and Edward Jones.

The four advisors add to the five recruitments Compound reported making in October 2024, with that group bringing 70 years of collective experience and adding $2.5B to the firm’s assets under management.
