Compound Planning Adds Five Advisors, Tops $2.5B in AUM

Compound Planning announced five veteran financial advisors have joined the firm, bringing total AUM to $2.5B and 26 advisors recruited in 2024.

Advisors Mark Patzer, Alec Montoya, Todd Rowe, Joe Perna, and Scott Hedgcock bring over 70 years of collective financial services experience across various disciplines from portfolio management to comprehensive estate planning.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Patzer brings over a decade of experience and joins from Miracle Mile Advisors, where he was a senior wealth advisor. Montoya, who is based out of Crystal Lake, IL, also brings over a decade of experience, joining from Mercer Advisors, where he spent over seven years.

Rowe is based out of Charlotte, NC, and has over 17 years of experience in the industry, most recently as a wealth advisor for nearly three years with Choreo. Like Rowe, Denver-based Perna has over 17 years of experience and most recently spent nearly a decade as a senior financial planner with Motley Fool Wealth Management.

Hedgcock brings 18 years of experience, and will operate out of Bellevue, WA. Prior to joining Compound Planning, he was lead advisor and partner for more than five years at Aletheian Wealth Advisors.
