Commonwealth Financial Network Welcomes Sentinel Advisory Group

Commonwealth Financial Network has welcomed Sentinel Advisory Group, which consists of a team of financial advisors from Northwestern Mutual. The Middleton, Wisconsin-based team, which manages over $300 million in client assets, includes advisors Brent Cashore, Peter Shulla, Nathan Keeling, and Cary Grunder. They specialize in working with retirees and clients preparing for retirement. Sentinel chose Commonwealth for its reputation of empowering advisor teams to have more control over their practice.

Brent Cashore, who has 15 years of experience in the industry, is known for his commitment to guiding clients toward financial success. Peter Shulla started his career as an intern at Northwestern Mutual in 2005 and became a full-time representative in 2006 before joining Commonwealth in 2024. Nathan Keeling, who entered the industry in 2015, focuses on creating financial plans that balance living in the present with planning for the future. Cary Grunder, with over three decades of experience, started his career in 1990 with Prudential Insurance Company and has worked with several other firms before joining Commonwealth. The team brings a wealth of experience and a client-focused approach to their new partnership with Commonwealth.
