Cogito Capital Partners secured an initial €90M (~$95.16M) in capital commitments on the first close of its second vintage tech fund.
Cogito Fund II is now 72% of the way to its target size of €125M (~$132M), to be mobilized into later- and early growth-stage B2B tech portfolio companies, particularly in Central Europe, in investments ranging from €5M to €15M per firm.
The Warsaw- and New York-based venture firm said Fund II’s investor base thus far includes the European Investment Fund, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development, the International Finance Corporation, the Polish Development Fund, and the Kościuszko Foundation, USA. The fund also received additional backing from family offices and tech entrepreneurs in Europe and the US.
