The Park Employees’ Annuity & Benefits System of Chicago approved a $15 million commitment to private equity fund Mesirow Fund IX.
The $394 million pension fund has an existing relationship with Mesirow.
As of March 31, the Park Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund allocates 5% to private equity with a target of 7%.
