European third-party funds manager Carne Group has been selected as the management company for global asset manager AXA Investment Managers’ (AXA IM) newly launched Euro Long Term Credit (LTC) Fund.
In a press release published October 22, Carne said the new fund will build on AXA IM’s 2019 vintage Sterling Long Term Credit Fund as its Irish UCITS, euro-denominated equivalent, likewise using AXA IM’s “buy and maintain” approach that seeks to build diversified portfolios that would generate consistent cash flows.
Carne serves over 650 clients in fund distribution across more than 160 countries, overseeing $2T in AUM. AXA IM manages approximately €859B (~$930B) in assets.
