Callan has hired Francis Griffin as senior private credit research consultant in its alternatives consulting group.
In an October 1 press release, the San Francisco-based institutional investment consultant said Griffin will be based out of the firm’s Summit, NJ, office, overseeing private credit research for all clients and leading efforts to identify private credit investment opportunities. Griffin will report to Pete Keliuotis, who heads alternatives consulting at Callan.
Prior to joining Callan, Griffin served as an operating partner of credit strategies at Investcorp Strategic Capital Group, and before that held senior roles at Langschiff Capital Partners, Angelo Gordon, and Verus Investments. He brings over 25 years of experience to his role with the alternatives consulting team, which Callan said has now expanded to include 16 consultant and research specialists with an average of 17 years of experience in the industry.
