CAIS Forms RIA Unit to Assist Advisors on Alts Portfolio Builds

Alternative investments platform CAIS announced the launch of a new RIA unit to assist financial advisors in portfolio construction and provide other alternative investment solutions.

In a press release published on October 15, the company said newly formed unit CAIS Advisors will adopt a suite of solutions such as “customizable alternative investment model portfolios, and multi-manager registered solutions” to streamline its advisory services in alternative investments, including private equity, private credit, and real assets. The new unit will be led by CIO Neil Blundell.

CAIS said it will also launch portfolio construction tool Compass to provide a comprehensive asset allocation and product selection mechanism for its advisors within its platform.
