Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. announced that it has recruited former McDermott Will & Emery partner Kristina White as a managing director and senior wealth planner for its Chicago office.

For her new role, White will closely work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and private business owners, giving advice on wealth transfer planning, trust and estate administration, and gift and generation-skipping tax issues. Her LinkedIn profile stated that as managing director, she will assist BBH’s relationship managers and investment professionals in achieving client goals.

White started with McDermott Will in 2011 as an associate attorney where she said she served the firm’s and BBH Chicago’s mutual clients in the Midwest. She became a partner at the firm in 2017. Her recruitment closely follows that of Alex Rohr, who earlier this month joined the firm’s corporate advisory and banking team in Philadelphia.
