Bison Wealth Management announced that it has recruited former BNY Mellon Wealth Management principal James McTiernan and in so doing will add a New York office.
McTiernan brings 25 years of experience catering to high-net-worth individuals, small businesses, and retirees, managing $450M in client assets.
McTiernan is the latest advisor to join Atlanta-based Bison, which said it expects further growth in 2025. To support that, it recruited Tom Scaturro from Key Private Bank in late 2023 as a senior managing director tasked with growing the firm through expansion and acquisition. Bison is backed by East Asset Management, the family office of Terry and Kim Pegula.
