Baird Adds Two Directors for New VA Office

Baird announced recruiting Directors Robert S. Bowman and Matthew L. Preddy into its new Virginia office, according to an October 3 press release.

Bowman and Preddy joined Milwaukee-based Baird from Edelman Financial Engines, where they worked as directors in financial planning. They bring a combined $510M in client assets, each with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Bowman will be assisted by associate financial advisor Dustin H. Dodge and Preddy by client assistant Ana Rawls. The team will operate in Baird’s new office opening in Richmond, VA, which would be the firm’s third location in the state. 

As of June 30, Baird said its private wealth management group oversees over $310B in client assets through its more than 1,400 advisors.
