Fee-only RIA Savant Wealth Management announced that it has promoted Zach Ivey, who joined the firm through its 2023 acquisition of Birmingham, AL-based Bridgeworth Wealth Management, to CIO.

Ivey has over two decades of financial advisory experience, beginning his career in 2001 at New York Life before a nearly eight-year stint at Lincoln Financial Group. He spent over 13 years at Bridgeworth before its acquisition by Savant. In his new role, he will be responsible for aligning the firm’s investment strategy with the clients’ goals and objectives.

Ivey succeeds Phil Huber in the CIO post. Huber joined Savant in 2020 but left at the end of 2023 to join alternative investment advisor and fund manager Cliffwater, where he is head of portfolio solutions. According to its latest Form ADV, filed December 26, 2024, Savant manages $28.6B in client assets, of which $15.6B are for high-net-worth individuals.
