Anthropic raised $30 billion in a Series G round led by GIC and Coatue, reaching a $380 billion post-money valuation as it accelerates enterprise AI and coding infrastructure expansion. The funding supports continued growth of its Claude platform, which has scaled rapidly across enterprise customers, cloud platforms, and AI hardware providers while surpassing $14 billion in run-rate revenue.
Palo Alto Networks has completed its acquisition of CyberArk in a transaction valued at approximately $25 billion, formally establishing Identity Security as a core pillar of its AI-driven cybersecurity platform strategy. The deal integrates CyberArk’s privileged access and identity security capabilities across human, machine, and AI identities, strengthening Palo Alto Networks’ position as a unified security provider for enterprises operating in the AI era.
BD has completed the spin-off of its Biosciences & Diagnostic Solutions business and its combination with Waters Corporation in a transaction valuing the unit at approximately $18.8 billion, with BD shareholders receiving Waters shares and BD receiving $4 billion in cash. The deal advances BD’s strategy to become a focused pure-play MedTech company, with proceeds earmarked for share repurchases and debt reduction while Waters expands its life sciences and diagnostics capabilities.
Nuveen has agreed to acquire Schroders in a board-recommended cash transaction valued at approximately £9.9 billion, creating a global asset management firm with nearly $2.5 trillion in combined assets under management. The deal strengthens Nuveen’s public-to-private investment platform and global distribution footprint, with Schroders operating as a standalone business within Nuveen following expected closing in Q4 2026, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Firmus has secured a $10 billion debt financing facility led by Blackstone and supported by Coatue to accelerate the national rollout of its energy-efficient AI Factory platform across Australia. The funding will scale Project Southgate to meet rising global demand for high-performance AI compute, positioning Australia as a key hub in the expanding AI infrastructure buildout.
Platinum Equity has agreed to sell global environmental services platform Urbaser to Blackstone and EQT for approximately $6.6 billion, following a multi-year transformation that significantly expanded revenue, EBITDA, and backlog. The deal marks a successful exit after Platinum’s 2021 acquisition, with the firm retaining Urbaser’s Argentina business while transferring the core environmental infrastructure platform to new ownership pending regulatory approval.
Transocean has agreed to acquire Valaris in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $5.8 billion, creating the world’s highest-specification offshore drilling fleet with a pro forma enterprise value of $17 billion. The combination unites 73 rigs across deepwater and shallow basins, is expected to generate more than $200 million in cost synergies, and positions the merged company to capitalize on a multi-year offshore drilling upcycle.
Ares has arranged a $2.4 billion debt facility for Vantage Data Centers, committing approximately $1.6 billion to refinance existing debt and support the expansion of its North American hyperscale data center portfolio. The financing strengthens Vantage’s ability to meet accelerating cloud and AI demand across its 17-campus, 4+ GW platform, which is fully leased to predominantly investment-grade customers.
Eli Lilly has agreed to acquire Orna Therapeutics in a deal valued at up to $2.4 billion, expanding its immunology pipeline with Orna’s circular RNA and lipid nanoparticle platform for in vivo CAR-T therapies. The acquisition centers on ORN-252, a CD19-targeting therapy for B cell-driven autoimmune diseases, and aims to advance next-generation genetic medicines that could overcome the cost and complexity of traditional cell therapies.
Prison services provider TKC has secured a $2.3 billion loan to refinance existing debt and fund a dividend, tapping credit markets amid continued investor appetite for leveraged transactions. The refinancing strengthens the company’s capital structure while enabling a shareholder payout backed by its correctional services cash flows.
