xAI has completed an upsized $20 billion Series E funding round, surpassing its initial target and bringing in a mix of institutional and strategic investors to support its next phase of growth. The capital will be used to scale world-class compute infrastructure and accelerate the development of advanced AI products, reinforcing xAI’s push to expand its frontier models and global user reach.
Palo Alto Networks has completed its acquisition of Chronosphere, a next-generation observability platform, in a deal valued at approximately $3.35 billion. The transaction unifies observability and security by combining Chronosphere’s AI-scale data architecture with Palo Alto Networks’ security and agentic capabilities, positioning the company to deliver real-time resilience and autonomous remediation for modern cloud and AI workloads.
Serverfarm has secured a $3.0 billion credit facility backed by a 23-lender syndicate to fund the development of multiple hyperscale, AI-ready data center campuses across North America. The financing supports large-scale projects including a 500MW+ Houston campus, positioning the Manulife Investment Management-backed platform to accelerate delivery of critical infrastructure for cloud and AI customers.
QXO has secured an additional $1.8 billion in financing from investors led by Apollo Global Management, increasing the total committed investment to $3.0 billion through convertible perpetual preferred stock. The expanded capital commitment enhances QXO’s financial flexibility and is earmarked to support one or more strategic acquisitions through mid-2026.
Francisco Partners has completed its acquisition of Jamf in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.2 billion, taking the Apple device management and security platform private. The deal positions Jamf to accelerate product innovation and expansion with greater strategic flexibility, while reinforcing its leadership in managing and securing Apple-first environments globally.
DayOne Data Centers has raised over $2.0 billion in a Series C equity financing led by Coatue, marking one of the largest private capital raises in the data center sector. The funding will accelerate DayOne’s hyperscale expansion across Europe and Asia-Pacific, supporting a rapidly growing, AI-ready development pipeline spanning Finland and key APAC markets.
Meta has acquired AI startup Manus for approximately $2.0 billion, bringing the agentic AI platform into its broader infrastructure to accelerate development across advanced consumer and enterprise use cases. The transaction validates Manus’ rapid rise and positions its autonomous AI capabilities to be scaled globally within Meta’s ecosystem.
IonQ has agreed to acquire SkyWater Technology in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately $1.8 billion, creating the only vertically integrated, full-stack quantum platform company. The deal provides IonQ with embedded access to a trusted U.S. semiconductor foundry, accelerating its fault-tolerant quantum computing roadmap while allowing SkyWater to continue operating as a pure-play foundry serving government and commercial customers.
Jacobs has agreed to acquire the remaining stake in PA Consulting for approximately £1.216 billion, valuing the innovation and transformation consultancy at around £3.05 billion. The transaction brings PA fully under Jacobs’ ownership, creating a global advisory platform that combines strategic consulting with deep technical and infrastructure expertise to support clients across the full asset lifecycle.
Skild AI has raised nearly $1.4 billion in new funding led by SoftBank Group, valuing the robotics AI company at over $14 billion. The financing will support continued development and deployment of Skild’s omni-bodied robotics foundation model, positioning the company to scale physical AI across a wide range of robotic platforms and real-world applications.
