Clorox announced it will acquire GOJO Industries, maker of Purell®, for $2.25 billion in cash, including tax benefits, expanding its health and hygiene portfolio into skin hygiene across both consumer and B2B channels. The deal is expected to be growth accretive, generate at least $50 million in run-rate cost synergies, and close before the end of Clorox’s fiscal year 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.
Premium Brands completed its acquisition of Stampede Culinary Partners for approximately $688 million, funded through a mix of cash, ~$150 million in PBH shares, and financing. To fund the deal, Premium Brands raised roughly $665 million via subscription receipts and 5.50% convertible debentures, with the remaining cash portion funded by a ~$102 million draw on its revolving credit facility.
Kitwave Group plc has agreed to be acquired by OEP-backed Kite UK Bidco in an all-cash deal valuing the UK wholesaler at approximately £251 million, with shareholders to receive 295p per share, a 33.5% premium to the prior closing price. The transaction, unanimously recommended by Kitwave’s board, will be completed via a court-sanctioned scheme of arrangement and is expected to close in Q1 2026.
Ripple Foods raised $17 million in strategic financing led by new investor Material Impact, with participation from Rich Products Ventures and existing backers, to accelerate growth in the plant-based protein market. The company also appointed longtime board member Becky O’Grady as CEO to lead its next phase of expansion, including new product launches and broader retail and foodservice distribution.
Women’s hygiene and wellness brand Pee Safe has raised $32 million in a funding round led by OrbiMed, with proceeds set to expand offline retail presence, strengthen distribution, and scale marketplace and quick commerce sales. The profitable Gurugram-based company has reached an annualised revenue run rate of over ₹150 crore, grew FY25 revenue 46% to ₹82 crore, and reduced losses by 69% to ₹4 crore.
Modern Milkman has secured a £10 million investment from Salica Investments’ Growth Debt Fund, bringing total funding to over £50 million to support expansion of its sustainable, app-driven doorstep grocery delivery platform across the UK and U.S. Founded in 2019, the company now serves more than 100,000 UK households and plans to broaden its integrated doorstep services while scaling its circular, reusable packaging model.
NextFoods raised $10 million in a Series 3 funding round led by ECP Growth to accelerate product innovation and brand expansion across its functional wellness portfolio, including GoodBelly and Cheribundi. The capital will support growth in gut health, recovery, and sleep categories while strengthening national retail partnerships.
Coco5 has secured a $10 million strategic investment led by Loop Capital to support executive hiring, international retail expansion, increased production, and product innovation, including its first new flavor launch in 15 years. The athlete-owned hydration brand, now in over 7,000 retail locations, appointed Marc Doggett as CEO as it scales distribution across major retail channels and global markets.
FoodNerd, a Buffalo-based toddler snack company, raised $7.5 million in a Series Seed round led by Selva Ventures, with participation from Spacestation Investments, S2 Venture Partners, Cistern Capital, and strategic angels. The company, known for its protein- and fiber-rich Mega Puffs made with sprouted seeds and real fruits and vegetables, leverages its proprietary Nutrient Lock Cold Processing technology to preserve key nutrients.
