Dakota tracked 15 active RFPs in March totaling approximately $6.3B, along with alternatives pacing plans from nine public pension allocators representing roughly $6.76B in target commitments. Mandates spanned private equity, private credit, real estate, real assets, and public markets, reflecting a broad-based deployment environment across both liquid and private asset classes.

On the search side, activity was anchored by several large-scale international mandates, including the $3.1B active and $1.1B passive US large and mid cap equity searches issued by the Swedish Fund Selection Agency due April 9, alongside the $1.6B global passive fixed income mandate from the Taiwan Bureau of Labor Funds due April 22. Stateside, Boston Retirement System launched an RFP due April 13 for a $115M private debt mandate targeting credit opportunities, distressed debt, and direct lending strategies.

In parallel, pacing disclosures from US public pensions saw private equity representing the largest share of planned commitments among private markets pacing targets at $5B in total, followed by real estate ($1.1B) and private credit ($602M).
